Cookie Policy
Degusta Verde S.R.L. · GDPR & ePrivacy Compliant · 2026
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on later visits and to remember certain preferences or information.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, tracking pixels or browser local storage, which work in a similar way.
Who we are
What types of cookies do we use?
Our site may use the following categories of cookies:
| Category | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Essential | Core functionality: session, shopping cart, CSRF security. | Session / 1 year |
| Functional | Functional | Remembering preferences (language, region) for a personalised experience. | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Analytics | Anonymous statistics on traffic and user behaviour (e.g. Google Analytics 4, with anonymised IP). | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing | Marketing | Relevant ads and remarketing (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads). Enabled only with your consent. | Up to 90 days |
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies; we recommend reviewing the policies of the relevant providers:
- Google Analytics / Google Ads — analytics and advertising (policies.google.com)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — social media remarketing (facebook.com/privacy)
- Stripe / PayU — secure payment processing (where applicable)
- Cloudflare — security and performance (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)
Advertising conversion measurement
When you reach our site from a Google ad, we use Google measurement tools to understand which campaigns lead to orders. This processing takes place solely with your consent for the Marketing category and works as follows:
- Denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2) — until you choose "Accept", Google tags cannot write or read advertising cookies and transmit no identifiers. A refusal is enforced technically, not merely stated.
- Ad click identifier (gclid) — if you accepted the Marketing category, the parameter Google adds when you click an ad is kept temporarily in your browser session so that a subsequent order can be linked to that ad. Without this consent, the parameter is not stored.
- Enhanced Conversions — if you accepted the Marketing category, the e-mail address used to place the order is irreversibly converted into a cryptographic code (SHA-256 hash) and transmitted to Google in that form only, to confirm that the order came from an ad. The plain address is never transmitted to Google. Without Marketing consent, nothing is transmitted.
- Order value — the amount, currency and products ordered are sent as conversion data. We do not send your name, delivery address or phone number to Google.
How to manage your preferences
On your first visit, you will see a consent banner that lets you accept or reject the non-essential cookie categories. You can change your preferences at any time:
- Through our banner — use the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer
- Through your browser settings — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge allow you to block or delete cookies
- Through opt-out tools — Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, NAI Opt-Out Tool
Disabling some cookies may affect the functionality of the site, including the checkout process.
Your rights (GDPR)
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Right of access — to request a copy of the data processed
- Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — the "right to be forgotten"
- Right to restriction of processing — in certain circumstances
- Right to data portability — in a structured format
- Right to object — to processing for direct marketing purposes
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
- Right to lodge a complaint — with the Romanian DPA (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro
International data transfers
Some service providers (e.g. Google, Meta) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, in accordance with Article 46 GDPR.
