Returns Policy – Degusta Verde

Art. 1

Legal right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer law on distance contracts (Directive 2011/83, transposed in Romania by GEO 34/2014), any Customer who is a natural person has a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract, without having to justify their decision. This period is calculated from the day the Customer takes physical possession of the ordered products.

Art. 2

Key exceptions to returns

Given the nature of the products sold — food products (olive oil) — the legal exception relating to health protection and public hygiene applies.

Important: Olive oil and food products that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned. The right of withdrawal applies only to products returned in the same condition in which they were received, with no signs of use or unsealing.

Art. 3

Conditions for accepting a return

For a return to be accepted, the products must meet all of the conditions below:

✓The container is perfectly sealed, with the guarantee seal intact

✓The original packaging is complete and undamaged

✓The product shows no signs of impact or mishandling

✗Unsealed products, or products that can no longer be resold, will be refused on return

Art. 4

Return notification procedure

The return process takes place in 3 simple steps:

Send an email to contact@degustaverde.com before the 14 days expire, with your order number, the date of receipt and the list of products to be returned.

Our team will send you the full instructions and the exact address of the fulfilment warehouse where the products must be shipped.

Ship the products to the address provided and confirm the tracking by email. The refund is processed after receipt and verification.

Art. 5

Logistics and shipping costs

The shipping costs for returning products are fully covered by Degusta Verde — returns are free of charge for the Customer. Returns are not made to the registered office in Baia Mare, but to the logistics address indicated by our operator when the request is processed, using the courier we designate.

Art. 6

Refund of the product value

The amount paid will be refunded within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date of the withdrawal notification, with the note that payment may be deferred until the products are received and physically checked at the warehouse. Refunds are made via the same payment method originally used, with no additional fees.
