The data controller

The protection of personal data is a priority for DEGUSTA VERDE S.R.L., with its registered office in Baia Mare, Maramureș County, 3 Cuprului Street, identified by VAT no. RO54155713 and Trade Register number J2026014336001. As data controller, we are committed to processing your information in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

Categories of data collected

To process orders correctly and deliver products, we collect: your first and last name, your full delivery address, your email address, your phone number and the data required for invoicing. This information is provided directly by you when creating an account or completing an order on our website.

Purpose of processing

All collected data is used solely for legitimate purposes: processing and validating orders, handling delivery logistics, issuing invoices as required by law and maintaining communication with customers. We also process data for technical support and for handling returns or complaints.

Legal basis for processing

Data processing is based on the necessity of performing the distance contract concluded when you place an order, as well as on compliance with legal tax and accounting obligations. In the case of newsletter sign-up, the legal basis for processing for marketing purposes is solely your freely given consent.

Data retention period

Your information is kept only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned. Data from financial and accounting documents (invoices) will be archived for at least 5 years in accordance with Romanian tax law. Data for marketing communications is kept until consent is withdrawn.

Sharing data with third parties

Your data may be shared with trusted partners: courier companies, secure payment processors and our fulfilment and warehousing partner. These third parties only have access to the data strictly necessary and are required to comply with GDPR security standards.

If you accepted the Marketing category in the cookie banner, we transmit the following to Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC for advertising measurement purposes: the order value and currency, the products ordered, a transaction identifier, and your e-mail address as an irreversible SHA-256 hash (never in plain form). We do not transmit your name, delivery address or phone number. Without this consent, nothing is transmitted. The transfer relies on the applicable transfer framework for the United States (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, subsidiarily, standard contractual clauses).
