General information

The website www.degustaverde.com is operated by DEGUSTA VERDE S.R.L., with its registered office in Baia Mare, Maramureș County, 3 Cuprului Street, identified by VAT no. RO54155713 and Trade Register number J2026014336001, phone +40 755 040 488, email contact@degustaverde.com. Using this site, as well as placing any electronic order, implies the user's full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Definitions

The Seller is DEGUSTA VERDE S.R.L., while the Customer is any natural or legal person who submits a purchase request. The Products sold include extra virgin olive oil and related food products, and the Contract is deemed concluded at a distance from the moment the order is officially confirmed by email.

Product specifications

The company sells extra virgin olive oils, including certified organic variants. Because olive oil is a natural product, the Customer accepts that its taste, colour and texture may vary from one batch to another, and that the appearance of natural deposits or sediment is not considered a manufacturing defect but evidence of the product's purity.

Prices and invoicing

All prices displayed on this site are shown in euro (EUR) and include VAT. Delivery costs are not included in the product price and will be detailed separately before the transaction is completed.

The ordering process

Orders are taken exclusively online and become firm only after a confirmation email is received. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of technical errors, lack of stock or suspected fraud, informing the Customer as soon as possible.

Payment methods

The buyer pays online by bank card through a secure payment processor. All orders must be paid in full before shipping.

Delivery of products

Shipping is carried out by courier. Estimated delivery times from order confirmation are: 3–4 business days for Hungary, Bulgaria and Poland; 4–5 business days for Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia; 6–7 business days for Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden. The delivery fee is €10 for Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia; €15 for Austria, Germany and Italy; and €25 for Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden. Delivery is free for orders of €60 or more (€10 countries), €100 or more (€15 countries) and €150 or more (€25 countries). The Customer must check the condition of the parcel on receipt and report any visible damage in a written report with the courier's representative.

Right of withdrawal and exceptions

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83 on consumer rights (transposed in Romania by GEO 34/2014), the Customer may return the products within 14 calendar days. Olive oil and food products unsealed after delivery cannot be returned — returns are accepted only for products with the original packaging intact.

Return and refund conditions

In the case of a valid return, the shipping costs are covered by Degusta Verde — returns are free of charge for the Customer. Returns are made to the logistics warehouse address, communicated when the return request is processed. Refunds are issued within a maximum of 14 days of receiving and checking the products.

Storage and preservation

Products must be kept in a cool place, away from sunlight and heat sources. DEGUSTA VERDE S.R.L. is not liable for product spoilage caused by failure to observe storage conditions after delivery.

Warranties and complaints

All products comply with European food safety standards. Complaints submitted through our contact details will receive a response within a maximum of 2 business days.

Personal data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Data is collected solely for order processing, invoicing and delivery.

Intellectual property and force majeure

All graphic materials and texts belong exclusively to DEGUSTA VERDE S.R.L. Neither party will be liable for failure to perform its obligations caused by force majeure.

Disputes and final provisions

The contract is governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be settled by the competent courts of Baia Mare. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. The Seller may amend these terms; the version that applies is the one on the site at the date of the order.
